What is a reed diffuser ?
A reed diffuser is
VERY simple. As in the picture above, a glass jar is
filled with a specially blended reed diffuser oil.
Rattan reeds are then inserted into the oil.
How Does It
Work ?
The reed diffuser
reeds that are placed in the reed diffuser oil have
what are called "channels". Channels are
basically holes in the reeds that run the entire
length of the reed itself. They are very much like
"mini-straws".

The
reed diffuser oil is then pulled up the reeds
naturally and evaporates into the air scenting your
home, office or dorm room.

How long do
reed diffusers last ?
That is a
complicated question as there are many factors that
contribute to how long reed diffuser oils last. Use
of fans, air conditioning, heating, humidity, closed
doors, open doors, dehumidifiers, etc. However, as a
general rule of thumb, our 4 oz. reed diffuser oils
will last for approximately 3-4 months and our 8 oz.
reed diffuser oils will last for approximately 6-8
months.
How often
should I flip the reeds ?
Whenever you notice
the scent fading a bit or want an extra burst of
fragrance. In our home, we flip the reeds in our reed
diffusers about once per week.
